THE KATKIN COACHING PLAN:
REAL WEIGHT LOSS, REAL SUCCESS,
REAL LIFESTYLE

Cincinnati's first holistic needs-based lifestyle weight loss program, specially designed for those who have had the lap band weight loss procedure. All-to-often weight loss surgeries alone are not enough to enact true lifestyle changes in patients. Our program is designed to help patients adopt long-term lifestyle changes that promote weight loss and better health-and enjoy long-term success.

The California Coaching Plan:

· Personal training up to twice a week
· In-store food shopping coaching
· In-home light/healthy cooking coaching
· Psychotherapeutic testing/evaluation
· Personalized psychological coaching
· Therapy to address emotional eating issues

Alice Pope is a working mother who has created a cooking style all her own, utilizing healthy and organic foods in easy-to-prepare recipes using simple techniques. She has lost nearly 60 lbs with her unique and tasty brand of cuisine. Many of her recipes are simply prepared and rarely take more than half and hour. "I'll share tips and trick I've learned about grocery shopping, meals and snacking, and quick-and-easy cooking that have helped me lose weight and keep it off in a way that doesn't feel difficult or too restrictive. It's not dieting, it's a positive lifestyle change!"

David Katkin LPCC
created the program with the belief that if you help a person change as a whole you will get maximum results. “I’ve been disappointed watching people try fad diets and telling me the same thing: I lost the weight but I gained it all back and then some,” he says. “Every bit of research that I’ve read clearly shows diets are never a long-term answer to true weight loss. The answer is lifestyle change. This is where I’ve seen my clients struggle. For years I would work with clients in my office on a therapeutic basis. They gained insight and focus on what their bad habits were and learned to maximize their good habits, but I knew I couldn’t be with them when they shopped for food, ate or exercised. My clients did achieve some level of success, but I knew that if I could help them in all aspects of their lifestyle, they could not only achieve their weight loss goals, but effectively change their lives, so a weight problem will be a thing of the past.”
